Specializing in Cooperatives
John Newman has been leading and advising cooperatives for over thirty years. In 1974, he served as General Manager of Ozark Natural Foods, a consumer cooperative. While there, he started a wholesale division, which was later spun off to become Ozark Cooperative Warehouse. He served as the first GM of the new purchasing and wholesale cooperative.
As a turnaround professional, he has successfully rescued agricultural, consumer, and purchasing cooperatives, serving as Interim General Manager or as advisor.
